Default what is the ideal afr, static comp, and dynamic comp for a boosted 10 psi 408 lq9 ?

408 lq9 on 93 pump ..

what is the ideal safe static compression, dynamic compression and air fuel ratio for a 408 lq9 boosted 10 psi ?

also what kind power am i looking at,

at 10 psi with FAST 102,102 combo heads still trying to decide between AFR 230 cc, TRICK FLOW 235 cc heads, and custom f1 boost cam...

Are you running a power adder yet?

I think I already answered your question in your other thread, but boost will bring an entire new wave of guidelines that need to be followed.

not yet just deciding on what route i should take, and trying to learn a thing or two of both sides boost vs N/A afr, comp ratios ect. .. thanks martin

if i go A&A kit i want around 700 to the wheels ,

With boost, you want to run a lower A/F ratio than you would being N/A. Im thinking it is for safety reasons. Somewhere around 11.8-12.2 on the boosted engine and high 12s for a N/A engine.

Ideal compression actually varies per peoples individual taste. I run 9.0:1, I have seen people run up to 10.25:1 on a boosted setup. Once you get up in the higher compression ratios, then you will have to run high octane fuel all the time even on low boost...and your really not letting the boost do the work for you. Alot of variables on this subject.

For 10 psi on pump gas something around 9.7-10:1 with 8.0 DCR would be nice and responsive.

thanks for the info , i am not looking to ever running any high octane fuel just 93 pump and maybe a 200 direct port down the road,,, and yes all i am looking for is safe comp, and air fuel ratio, for a street car on 10 psi, and 200 direct port shot.

I agree with Nitroused here.

Jason what are your thoughts on higher DCR in the 8.5-8.8 regions with boost that would be run on pump gas? Isn't your DCR close to this?
