launching and traction control

launching and traction control not sure what forum this should be in but starting here!
my car has traction control/abs. at the strip this weekend even tho i turned the system off it "acted" as if it was still on during 3 of my 5 runs. basically launched at about 5k and then it would bog out/stutter, and felt like it was pushing the accelerator back up like regular traction control.
1) is there a pid or bit to monitor with hptuners that i can confirm my ars/tcs is actually turning off?
2) i maxed out the torque settings in hptuners. is there something else that may be limiting power output on a manual tran car?
