I don't know how many of you have been following the projector halo thread on the CadillacForums, but I figured I'd post a link and show you my progress on it. If you have any feedback (other than to hurry up and get my fascia refinished), hit me! It rained last night and the car is filthy.

Is the light dispersion adequate or or it ruined? I know a lot of people that went to a non-patterned lexan piece said the light dispersion was terrible and didn't help light the road any. I'm assuming the projector might help that issue though?

I'll let you know as soon as my 4500K H3 HID bulbs arrive from DDM. Should have answers for you by labor day. What I can say is that the projectors are good quality--glass, with internal blocker bars to generate that sharp cutoff that you expect.

I think the projectors should totally fix the light dispersion problems from other designs. These look awesome.

Looks like these were retrofitted into the stock housings.
Lexan from home depot, and projectors from ebay.

It's not cheap. The projection lenses with CCFL halos are $70, plus you'll want to pick up a set of standard CTS cores (about $100), and then you've got thick Lexan, lots of epoxy, H3 HIDs and ballasts, LED turn signals, etc. I estimate total cost is about $300. Aiming these things correctly is a ton of work, since you have to mount them in the car incomplete and finish epoxying them in the correct orientation. To do multiple sets in a time efficient manner, you'd have to develop an aiming rig.

Wait until you see this car sporting six CCFL halos (two in each headlamp and one in each fog). It's nice.

Ill leave my opinions out on that one. As long as you like it.

Yeah, I too would like the projectors in the fogs without halos. I think it'll be too much with six halos.

Halos are for BMWs like Altezza tails are for is300s.

Nope. Still dont liek them.
I had kind of liked the idea of adding audi like LED strip to my lights. But as everyone would just say that I copied an Audi. I didnt.

Off topic a bit, but do yours work as wired stock? The highs and halos work for me but not lows.
