Default Where is this noise coming from? (Vid inside)

This noise happens after I start the vehicle and usually shuts off after like 10 seconds or if I rev it a little. It sounds like a pump or compressor when it shuts off. It only happens after I have driven it 2 hours before the start-up. If its been sitting for longer then it starts up normally. Someone told me it could be the alternator, fuel pump, or fuel vacuum but I wanted to see what you all thought too.

I'm talking about the noise that starts at 3 seconds or that moaning sound...

easy fix. pull the fuse related to your AIR pump. then start your car. the AIR system isnt really needed, its bascially for your cats and most people delete it, especially while doing headers.

Most of the time, that AIR stuff gets removed when installing headers, unless you order them with emissions fittings.

Okay I looked in my manual to pull said fuse and there are two fuses in the two fuse boxes labeled air pump. The description of them just says air pump so which one (or maybe both?) do i remove? Also, since I'm just interested in it and I figure I'll try to gain as much info as I can, what exactly does it do for the cats?

Thanks for all the replies!

AIR supplies fresh air to the exhaust system for the catalytic converters to operate properly when the engine is cold.

If I remember correctly it should be its own fuse (not shared), and is labeled on one of the fuse boxes in the engine bay.

I know but the problem is that there are two separate fuses both labeled in air pump in both fuse boxes. As to which one connects the AIR pump I do not know.. Does anyone know which one it is?

I remember I was messing with the AIR pump on my 93 and I believe there were two things labeled air pump as well, I will check it out on my car maybe it will jog my memory…. Anyway on mine there was a relay labeled “AIR pump” and I know that worked to open the circuit

Looked at a few pictures online real quick of the fuse box cover and I only saw one relay for air injection and one fuse (25A). The fuse looked like it was one the side with the three fans and the relay looked like it right above the starter relay.
