Hello everyone up for sale once again is my Camaro, id like to find it a good home as i want to move on to something new. All reasonable offers will be considered $18,000 OBO. 2001 Z28 Fully loaded, leather, t-tops, AC, power everything, RS body kit, 57,000 miles.
Engine
LS1 Engine, has been professionally built, using only the very best components available. AFR205CC Mongoose Heads, Titanium Valves, Comp Springs, Custom Grind Comp Cam, Custom Length Manly Push Rods, LS6 Intake, Kooks Long Tube Headers 1 ¾. It has 2 high flow Kooks cats, and all 4 O2 sensors installed and functional, cat back is from Borla.
Trans/Drivetrain
The transmission is brand new unit (not rebuild) Rockland Standard Gear T-56 020V, 31 spline shafts, shortened gears, this is there Drag Race Ready Transmission, complete with all paperwork, build sheets etc. Clutch is an Exedy GH01SD unit, with SFI approved Flywheel. Rear Differential is Custom made from Drive Train Specialties (DTS) This is the “DTS 12-Bolt DANA 60” It is a custom 12 bolt housing with a DANA Style Pumpkin, full floating axles, and gear set. 9.75” gear 4.10 ratio, Eaton Positraction, Strange 31 Spline Axles, lengthened hardened wheel studs. The drive shaft is 3.5” aluminum and looped with NHRA Legal Drive Shaft loop.
Chassis/Suspension
The chassis was professionally set up. It utilizes a full suite of Hotchkiss components, including front and rear sway bars, trailing arms, and Panhard bar. Subframe connectors and Torque arm are from SLP Engineering. All 4 shocks are custom valved Billsteins that were valved by a professional speed shop for Drag launch. Bump has been removed from the rear shocks via valving and rebound from the front via valving. The rear springs are custom made units from eibach special made to specs of the speed shop that did the install. Front springs are stock units, (speed shop recommended) This vehicle launches hard and straight every time. Also installed is an NHRA Legal and NHRA Certified 6-Point Rollbar custom made by Wolf Racecraft, and installed by a professional chassis shop. Simpson 5-Point Harnesses Driver and passenger, Quick Disconnect style on Driver side.
General Information
This vehicle has been highly tuned on more than one Dyno, and makes 447RWHP, on pump gas no power adder. All Features in the vehicle work including AC, cruise control, original BOSE Stereo etc. This car was built with the intention of being a street car, and it is very streetable. The cooling system has had capacity added with the addition of a larger radiator from SLP Engineering. This vehicle can sit in bumper to bumper traffic with the AC on with no issues. Also worthy of note, this vehicle legitimately passes NY State emissions inspection. There is no Service Engine Light on in this vehicle ever. There are several other nice little features worth mentioning, for example, SLP Line Lock is installed and wired to a factory switch that was installed in a factory location, there is also a fan override switch, to manually run the fans at varying speeds if so desired. The wheels are 17x9.5 all 4, with Nitto Drag radials in the rear and Nitto Autocross tires up front, all 4 tires and rims are brand new with less than 25 miles on them. Brake rotors are from PowerStop, and are drilled and slotted with less than 500 miles on them. I am sure I am missing something as I tried to leave no stone unturned while building this vehicle.
I have all paperwork, including, Trans, engine, and rear diff build sheets, all receipts, all parts were professionally installed, I have won several trophies with this car including from the Automobile Association of America, and at the Camaro Nationals. I also have an insurance appraisal in writing as to the value. This is a very serious professionally built vehicle. Please serious inquiries only.
