Shaddy Camaro Sale on CL
so theres an ad on craigslist.
states a 2000 camaro z28 auto.
he wants around 3k for it. has 76k miles on it
so this is how it started.
Hello again,
I`m located in Great Falls,MT (the car is here with me) right now because i got a new job here, the thing is i`m very busy and i don`t have time to stay and meet with all my potential buyers, that is why i gave to a shipping company that will ship it to the next owner(on my cost). I will make the deal only to eBay. I am a member of the eBay buyer protection program and using this service you will get a 5 days testing period after delivery. During that 5 days testing period I will not be getting any money. I need to know if you are interested in buying it so I can ask eBay to send you the details on how this works. If interested please include in your next email your contact info for eBay ( full name, full address and phone number ) so we can get things started.
Thanks and have a great day !
seems kinda weird to me.

Scam galore. If a deal is too good to be true, it usually is. No way does a Camaro, even an auto Z28, go for $3k. Your talking roller territory for those type of prices. Even if it had twice the mileage, it would probably go for around $4k minimum. If you cant test drive the car, you shouldnt consider buying it.

Scam for sure.. I play with them and I tell them I want to come look at it in person. They respond that they are out of town in another state and I tell them I will take the next plane to their location. Then they say that they are busy at there job and don't have time. So I tell them how are you going to ship the car without you being there? They respond they gave the key to the shipping company and I asked him to send me the address to the car location and he said he cannot do that. I told him I just want to see it in person and he can ship it to my house but then I dont get a response back anymore. .Damn scammers..
FYI they also used to use Ebay Motors as their cover up. They even had Ebay send an email to you but they just hacked the email or made one up. They usually have somebody contact you saying to send funds to so and so account and it will be on hold and you have 10 days to accept or return and seller pays all shipping cost..
Don't fall for it.. Not only camaro's but also scam with bikes, maximas, you name it..
Be careful...

haha, definitely a scam, but deals can be had.
I picked up my '98 T/A auto for $4500 with 79k miles on it. There were title issues (guy selling it had never bothered to transfer the title into his name) and it had recently been broken into (no driver's side window or stereo), but otherwise it was in great shape. I had to drive to Ft. Worth from Houston to see it on very short notice since he was considering it first come, first serve, but the VIN checked out so I picked it up and got a bonded title, and window cost me about $350 to have SafeLite replace it at my job.

lol, that's a scam..
On other note I sold my 2k WS6 for 3500. Auto/Black leather (no tears)/minor mods/ 7of10 on body.. only 93000 miles. So there is some out there cheap.. plus I'm not money hungry like most that are selling they're cars.. Most folks wanna get all their money back when they sell a ride..
But this car u found sounds too funny
