I'd like to see this too. I've been thinking of switching mine for a while so this might make me pull the trigger lol.

There is a blue film behind the gauges. It will show up blue with white LEDs.

To get pure white to show on the OEM gauge face, you have to scrap off the blue film on the backside of the gauge face. Its not that hard to do, heres an example I did on a Cobalt SS cluster and Grand AM GT cluster. I used goo-gone and red 3m scratch pad. You have to be a bit meticulous to keep the goo gone in the area your working on, so take your time, the results are sooo worth it. I have 2 97-02 Camaro clusters and one 97 Trans Am cluster apart right now, and the color film and adhesive backside of the gauge face are the same as the Grand Am and Cobalt.

Before with the incandescents and blue film. Lights up just like 4th gen clusters.

After with white LED's and blue film scraped off stock gauge face.

the white tends to over power and wash out the color in the overlay........but to use red would cancel out any colors in the overlay......no?
