Hey guys I was just wondering if I seem to be on par for what I'm working with. I have a 01 SS m6 with a dyno max catback and a 10 bolt with 4.10s. I just ran Friday at Bristol. It was pretty hot and the first few runs were just after driving 2 hours so everything was hot. I made 3 passes back to back. This was the best.
RT -.005
60 2.106
330 5.814
1/8 8.814
Mph 82.31
1/4 13.527
Mph 105.33

I then let it "cool" for about 1.5-2 hours and made 5 passes back to back. Here's the best one
RT -.071
60 2.088
330 5.761
1/8 8.734
Mph 82.79
1/4 13.415
Mph 105.97

The sad thing is both of those runs I red-lighted. But I had several good rt's, 1 was .002 rt and most of the rest were less than .100. But were slower. Does this sound right? I haven't checked the DA yet.

The DA was 3721 and my best run corrects to a 12.806 @ 111.07. Seems good to me... What do y'all think?

Sounds about right to me, about average times for a stock'ish LS1 F-Body

Sounds right but for the corrected numbers I don't see you having a 111 trap with those mods.

I have a 01 a4 Z28 and ran 8.50 1/8 in 97 degree heat. I only had MAC catback slp lid n k&n filter. I drove it an hour to get there in stop in go traffic with the a/c on. I was told if I didnt wheel hop so bad I could have prolly ran 8.30's. I have a friend with a 02 ws6 a4 same mods except he has the loudmouth he was running 8.60's dead hooking. Some cars just run a little more better then others.

Ive seen 111mph with ported TB, SLP lid, and chopped off stock muffler. 02 Camaro ss. Itd sound more believable if you had a Lid atleast.

Well I do have a k&n fipk but from what I've read most don't believe they help any. And I have a 160 stat as well

And those times were corrected on drag times.com

seems about right, that elevation sucks. I went 12.56 @ 111 with 4.10's, corsa catback, and slp lid, but elevation was only around 1000'

if i remember right that was with a 1.90 60ft. I was running BFG drag radials at 19 lbs and had a diamond stage 2 clutch

I think if I had drag radials I could have gotten down at least another tenth or so. But I was on street tires with full pressure. I just don't think that will bode well for my 10 bolt

Looks good for that DA. +3k feet is tough to do much in. Definitely a lot left in her in better air. My automatic 01 SS went 12.2 at 114 with full exhaust, lid, free ram air mod, tune, and 3.73s. No reason for you not to be able to trap every bit of 111 mph at 500'-1k DA long as the relative humidity is down. Good runs man.

Eventually I'm looking to get long tubes and a polluter or similar cam. So hopefully that'll help get me into the 12s. Then maybe a set of heads but that'll be way down the road unless I win the lottery

Oh and I also forgot I recently installed a Monster stage 2 clutch and a Hypertech power programmer (to recal speedo)- damn my mind is leaving me quite early in life it seems. Recap on mods: K&N FIPK, 10 bolt with 4.10s, dynomax bullet catback, Monster stage 2, 160 stat, and Hypertech programmer. I swear I think sometimes my mind is granny shifting, not double clutching like it should....

Save money for a built rear. That 10 bolt with 4.10 gear isn't going to last long racing with a manual ;)

yeah I'm sure you're right, hopefully one day before too long I'll get enough coins saved for a S60 and a driveshaft. Sure would give me a little peace of mind while i'm pounding gears....
