Default What oil filter?

I am doing the 6.0 conversion in my 70 camaro and i bought a F Body oil pan. I went today to buy a oil filter for a 2000 camaro 5.7 and it dont screw on. What filter number are you guys using? Thanks

KN2006 is the one i use. its the longer truck filter
regular stock replacement K&N is HP-1007
AC Delco - PF46
Mobil1 - M1-107

You sure you have an 98-02 F-body pan the newer pans are different.

2006-Current (Metric)
Delco PF63 Wix 57045 taller filter (4.828") for the newer 22mm threads.
Delco PF48 Wix 57060 shorter filter (3.45") for 22mm threads

1999-2006 (Standard) older pans
Delco PF46 Wix 51042 is the shorter (3.404") for 13/16" threads
Delco PF61 Wix 51522 is the taller (4.526") for 13/16" threads

Yes, I ordered a 98-01 FBody from the local Chevy dealer....(I hope he got me the right one), the filter the parts store sold me is a Fram 3506. I see from what you guys are saying they sold me the wrong filter. Thanks guys for the help.
