Default 84 monte SS 6.0 swap

im going to swap a 6.0 vortec into my 84 monte carlo, besides normal things like cross member and motor mounts and oil pan. is there anything i should be aware of this befor i get to far into this i have a auto trans with motor and ecu and harness i plan on using, what about radiators and any info on a/c lines things like that i should be aware of

your factory SBC radiator will work.

AC lines depend on what compressor you use. You can change over to olds v8 condensor and lines and use a R4 compressor mounted on the pass head. Or use the LS compressor and make custom AC lines

ok thanks for info. Along with that what about intake? im not sure if the 6.0 vortec intake is going to clear my stock hood? ive seen people saying you can make a ls intake fit with out changing everything any ideas?

I think hood clearance depends on the mounts/adapter plates you use. The rear most passenger coil may hit the heater box...with my non-setback mounts the coil rubs a little, set back mounts might rub a lot more. Also there are not a lot of well fitting headers on the market.
