Default 18x9.5 c6 tire ?

I have done a search and still am.
Question is I have a 02 formula with 18x9 c6 wheels on the rear. It currently has a 275-40-18 tire on it. My buddy has a set of nitto 555r tires in 305-35-18. Can I run these on the rear of the car? Or is this to much tire. Figured I'd ask if anyone is doing this as he has crashed his car and never got to mount them. So he's lettin them go for a pretty good deal. As far as I can see theirs plenty of room under their for more but I was more worried if I have enough rim for the tire

Yes you can, but it's not recommended.

But to answer the question, yes it will fit.

Yea the more I search the more it looks like I'll need a 10.5 rim instead of a 9.5. He was goin to run these on a 10 inch wheel. Only reason I'm looking into these as it is a really good deal Now off to check for wider rear wheel and see if they even make them for a fbody

Yes sir. Just found them in 18x10.5. May pick 2 of them up and the tires and have 2 sets of wheels for the rear. Thanks for the quick response.
