dart 205 heads on turbo 4.8
#4
I would sell em and put the money towards a good turbo.
Or somewhere else that would bring a better bang for the buck.
From what I have read (and I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong) until you are approaching that 800+ HP range, you are not going to have significant gains with better heads, especially on a smaller engine like a 4.8.
If you have them just sitting there an no hopes of selling them or no other use for them, then sure, put them on and crank up the boost.
Or somewhere else that would bring a better bang for the buck.

i got stock 862s on mine, 835wheel, and i am approching the max on em. although it still gains good power with increased boost. it made 618 on 20# and 835 on 25#, but thats still a low number for 25psi.
to answer ur question, yes they will perform better, prolly way better infact. but u can get the same numbers from the 862s. u could make 650 wheel with the 862s on 17psi or make 650 with the good heads at 15psi.
truth is, u will never notice a difference.

and on a side note, if u do decide to get rid of them, i woudlnt mind giving u an offer.
i made 835@25psi with the 862s, id like to see what those darts would do at 25psi...........

And op, I got the ls9 gaskets here, only way to go! Arp studs over torqued to 95#s
Idk how hard u are gonna push this thing but if your are gonna see 18+ psi, pm me for a nice custom touch on the ls9 gaskets
