Awesome. Details on the shortblock and cam please (you can PM me). I'm thinking of making an iron 347 out of my 5.3 and putting the F1-C on it.

Details are pretty simple, 10.1 compression, CCP Stage 3 cam (230/242), LS6 intake, Alky Control Dual nozzle meth kit.15 degrees total with a 11.0 AFR. Pretty much the blueprint for everything I put together.

Might switch to a YSi as this D1SC is done.

Awesome output from a 347.

Wonder what she'd do with an F1-R and pure E-85(112 octane) or E98(115 octane)???

Stock crank and Eagle rods, the main caps were not pinned.

This combo is actually 2 years old now. He is considering pulling off the D1SC and installing a YSi instead.

Actually if you do a search I did a similar combo about 5 years ago on my own car but with a F1R. It made over 900 rwhp with some Patriot heads and never pushed an ounce of water.

I think it ran mid 9's first day out-then my blower crapped out.

I remember that combo...was it 1/2" studded? Gasket or ringed? Nice results...I like to see blower cars still putting up!

Man, that is awesome! I am about to do very close to the same combo with a 347, stock crank and small pully on my D1 as well.

Quite impressive. For a street car, I'm not sure you can beat that. The D1SC even comes with helical gears if you really want a stealthy setup.

I remember Aruns first 347 F1R combo. SUPER SUPER SICK. I still vividly remember the fear in the other Vette owners eyes when he rolled into a hangout up this way. I am pretty positive nobody really wanted to throw out a challenge. Remember that night Arun? He revved the engine and i think all the plaza store alarms went off.

Just curious. How are you getting 800 horsepower out of a D1SC, without even maxing it out? Not flaming you. Just curious
