Default Convertible Tunnel Brace?

My buddy just got Pacesetter Longtubes and ORY put on his '96 TA Convertible. The car is an M6, and had an "x-brace" underneath that no longer fits due to the headers (this brace is similar to the driveshaft tunnel brace on coupe/t-top cars)

For those of you unfamiliar with what I'm talking about, the brace looks like this: https://ls1tech.com/forums/lsx-parts...ble-brace.html

Is there a way to modify this to fit with an ORY, or does any company make an aftermarket remedy?

Thanks in advance.

I beat the hell out of mine and got it to clear the SLP Y
for stock cats, but had to ditch it when I went to the
3" Jet-Hot setup.

SLP made a version that was supposed to clear better,
but it was a flimsy turd and actually interfered more,
and the bolt holes didn't even line up. I threw it in the
trash rather than sell it to some sucker.

Leaving it off gave me a little more body shake but
I quickly got used to it. Thought about welding up my
own but never got motivated enough. It would be
easy enough to jig up using an original piece, just
not worth it to me.

He's planning on adding a strut tower brace and 3 point subframe connectors to the car, so it will be fine down the road, I'm sure, but every little part helps with drop tops.

I'm curious as I've never seen an underside shot but does anyone have a picture of the undercarriage?
