Default Detail: 2007 C6

Cleaned this one up a while back. Main focus was to remove the hard water spots, clean up the finish by removing the majority of the swirls and add a good layer of protection. Side note: Tires were not dressed at the owners request, you'll see why.

Here you can see some of the water etching that I was dealing with:

More water spots:

And now for the finished pictures:

Removed the plate to polish out the imperfections here too. It's the little details that set us apart from the rest.

Questions/Comments welcome!

Thanks for checking it out

Brian

Looks great.

I need to do this to my car. What proucts did you use.?

I'm planning on purchasing a Porter cable 7424 6" polisher and some Lake Country pads......have no idea on products to use.

Any insight you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Car looks amazing brother.!

Thank you!

D300, D151, Optimum GPS, and D301 coupled with Meguiars Microfiber Cutting disks/polishing disks, and Optimums Polishing disk.

If you do buy that polisher, purchase the 5.5" pads as they will provide a little more cut oscilating on a tighter axis.

If you want an idea of what you'll need, Gofast80z has made a great thread in the appearance section detailing a lot of things. He is another fantastic and well respected detailer so you can't go wrong listening to him.

Another incredible job. I like it when you do black cars better to really show the detail in the work.
