Default Head Choice Vs. Blower Questions

So I picked up forged LS3 for my 99 Z28. -12cc Mahle pistons, Oliver Rods, Dragonslayer crank. Shortblock is still at 378 CI. Currently I have a set of 5.3 2.5 PRC heads on my stock bottom end LS1. I plan on running a F1 with a 4 inch front-mount.

So my question is that I know that I can run the 5.3 heads and the combo would work fine. Would upgrading to LS3 CNC heads make that much more power? I know with a N/a motor the port volume plays a huge role in power production since having too large of port volume will reduce port velocity. Being that the motor is limited to stock cubic inches will the larger port volume with the cnc heads hurt performance or is the gain negligible for the cost. Since the motor would be under boost conditions, I am not sure how port volume / port velocity factors in.

Any scientific thoughts are appreciated.

I would go with the bigger/better heads, but honestly, I'd look into heads with a thicker deck surface if you're planning to run a F1.
