Default y2k c5 wheels

So i just got some c5 y2k chrome wheels for a good deal but the finish is a little rough. Do they have the same clear coat finish like the trans am wheels?

i dont know about a clear coat finish...but meguiars makes a chrome/aluminum cleaner that is awsome! i use it to clean my wheels and its a rubbing compound. you can apply it by hand or with a power ball, either way works great

They should be chrome. To be sure hit them with turtle wax chrome polish they sell for $3 at Walmart.

My wife's factory chrome trans am wheels were so bad you couldn't tell they were even chrome. The second you put the chrome polish on them the tarnish literally fell off the wheel
