Default Wicked 72 240Z/ LS1 transplant

New to this site , my toy ...A 1972 Datsun 240Z with an LS1, T5 6 speed swap.

as soon as figure how to use this site ,I will post pics of Zfrankiszvette, She is silver,with red guts, she is a Cali car, complete restoration done in 1996, the LS1 transplant was done in 2005. She has won a few trophies in local car events

Great Car!! I did a 400 small block conversion in my 72 240Z back in 1976... No Tremecs back the so I went with a turbo 400.

Some info and stats: 1972 Datsun 240Z from Cali..2002 GM LS1 Motor..2002 Tremec T56 6 spd transmision ..1994 Q45 R200 VLSD rear differential. Custom billets axles with C/V halfshafts..Custom billet rear diff mounts..Modern Motorsports Extreme 13'' PBR brakes front and rear..MSA coilovers and camber plates at all four corners with Eibach springs and Tokiko Ilumina 5 way adjustable inserts..Suspension Techniques front and rear sway bars..Custom made front and rear strut tower bars..Custom made subframe connectors front to back..Vintage Air Gen II mini A/C and heater system..Recaro seats..16''by7'' Panasport wheels........STATS-Weight 2650lbs..Dyno-340RWHP and 365RWT..1/4 Mile-12.8 at 109mph..0-60-4.6sec..Power to weight ratio-7.8lbs per HP.....all this and consistently gets 30 mpg on the highway,,,,,
