Is there any any relation betweel the egr & cam sensor. My ses light is randomly going on & off. I recently got my pcm back from being tuned. I don't blame the tuner. My codes are P1404 &po343. can one trigger another. It just seems wierd they would happen at the same time. The car is about to hit 100k. Should I do one before the other after I check the cam sensor wiring. I think I read it is behind the intake. I hope that doesn't have to come off?
The car starts on a dime but it surges or struggles after catching 2nd under light throttle. If i step on it the gas pedal snaps under my foot when it hits second (wierd). Little rough idle sometimes but not terrible.
Is it worth cleaning the egr because my friend will do it & I would like to do it once.I do need the egr for the bloodsuckers in NY. Thanks for reading. Brian.
