Default T brake, drag radial guys.how so you do it?

So I was a first time tbrake user and first time drag radial yesterday. Could not get it to hook at all.

Track prep was good,i tried leaving at 8psi,wot and it was up in smoke.

Same on 5psi. I ended up just foot braking it to a 10.1 @137. 1.585 60ft.
I'm running a 275 60 15 bfg drag radial with 13psi in them.
Qa1 set all the way loose in the front,on click 7 in the rear. Pinion angle at minus 2. 3790lb race weight.

Thanks
Alex

Play around with your air pressures! any where from 11 lbs - 16 lbs , every 1/4lb of air makes a difference.

13 psi seems too low for a radial. I run mine closer to 17 psi

Edit also noticed BFG radial. Might have better luck with a MT or Hooiser

You need to be able to dial in ramp rate with the boost controller. If you allow it to reach peak boost as fast as it can physically make it you will have trouble with traction.

2 step

got to get the weight on the back tire, get the nose up a little (shock settings)

13 psi sounds a little low but 14-16 psi would be where'd i'd start

My radials won't hook below 18 psi, it will start wrinkling them anything under 19

Weight may be part of it though

Your car is heavy, you will need more tire pressure. I would try to put your shocks at 10 also. Keep lowering your two step until it hooks.

My pressure is at 17-18. Post a vid of what its doing. It takes time there are so many variables. Rpm, boost, shocks, pressure, instant center ect.

I could never get the trans brake to work until i raised my instant center. Once i got that and the shocks, bam itll hook in wet grass
