Default Whats needed to convert to a GEN IV block from III?

I know the 58x wheel has to be swapped or buy the conversion kit , and the knock sensors are moved to the side. but what are people doing about the cam sensor being mounted in the front of the timing cover? can you just extend the wires?

I did do a search and came back with nothing, Just looking for what i need to do to swap in a aluminum 5.3 in place of my iron 5.3

There was a good article in HotRod Magazine on this swap in a 4th Gen LS1 Camaro during the last 2-3 months. They gave tips, part numbers, everything.
