So... Sue and I had been to the drive in (yes, we still have a drive in theater in our area) and were heading home. Gorgeous night, so we have it open. A little Eclipse pulls up next to us at a light and starts revving his little sewing machine engine at us, and asks what I've done to the Vette. I tell him it's basically stock and ask what he's done. He tells me a turbo and "300 shot of Naassss". Which seems really really unlikely to me... The light changes, and we hit it. I back off at about 110, with about 8-9 cars on him. We stop at the next light. I suggested that he might need more "naaassss". He flipped me off...

I don't think it was a waste. His buddy in the passenger seat seemed to be enjoying it, although it would have been better if it had been his girlfriend in the passenger seat.

theres a drive in around my home town as well
bunch of ricers hang out there as well.

There's a real drive in in Oak Harbor (WA) that I go to when I want a old fashioned drive in. They got grass parking, big grass area under the screen to play frisbee or catch before the movie, with a large tented in video arcade and a nice go-kart track to run on. sumthin like $5 a person for the double feature. We bring our BBQ and have a real good time there!

No ricers either: Every 10th car is a muscle car, usually restored older stuff with blowers out the hood and such. A few miles away in either direction is where the dig racing takes place: rolls are unheard of in Oak Harbor, hence no ricers. lol

Went to a drive in in cape cod. They still exist. I was told of one in jersey about 8 years ago.
