Default Black dash pad with dark gray interior?

Anybody got any pics or know how it looks? My 1998 Z28 is in need of one and I found a black one for $100. While I know it's a deal, I dont want it looking funky cause it just got out of the body shop and I'm addressing the interior now. Thanks guys!

The colors are too different, I would not do it. I can use a new dash pad also but black is black and gray is gray.

Buy it! Put it up for trade, with folks changing from gray to black interiors, I bet you will get a taker! $100 is a very good price.

That was my thought and without seeing one to see for sure I'm skeptical.

Hell that's a great idea! I didn't think of that.

I took this pic to show why not to use a 97+ dash cap on a 93-96 TA dash... anyway, the upper is ebony, dash is grey. Noone notices unless I point it out

Anyone get there dash rewrapped with leather? I'm on my second replacement and it still has a few flaws I'm unhappy with. I don't think I will find one clean enough for my liking. I'm thinking about trying to get the upholestery shop to wrap it.

You could also get a dash pad to cover it. The one I has the only thing visible is the "slits" for the vent. Would be really hard to notice the color difference
