Hey guys

Im a little worried with how my exhaust is gonna sound after fitting a single turbo.

I currently have an na style cam 231/239 112lsa. Does anyone have any sound clips of their cars with this kind of combo? I mean, part of the reason of having a v8 is the sound as long as there is still some lope to it and it doesnt sound like a v6 ill be happy.

it wont, my cam was smaller then that and setup for n/a and it still loped just not as loud

-_- i hope it sounds like a v6 just for that comment. but the turbo is going to kill the lope a little cause of the extra back pressure and you should invest in a turbo cam. it will still sound like a ls motor

Here's how mine sounded N/A, I don't have a good idle video of my car with the turbo on. But with my 4" cutout open it still rumbles pretty good but it doesn't quite have the crackle it used to.


GoPro audio isn't nearly as good but you get the point.

I have twins with a "n/a" style cam and imo mine sounded like ****. I hope yours has a better note than mine did. I have a buddy with a single and his sounds awesome. Not sure his cam specs
