I left work the other day in Texas City and was headed back to Kemah. As I was headed towards 146, I passed a blk on blk Z06 and a blk CTS V. Well the CTS V saw me and made a U turn quick and came and caught up. I seen him comin and wasnt going to race bc my Torque Arm was broke and my trans hits 3rd gear. But this kid with his gf kept tryin to mess with me and we got to 146 and I said screw it, gonna make him look stupid in front of his gf lol. He takes the hit and I just get next to him and start Rompin it and finally just decked it and walked away. I looked for him the next day hopin to play again lol.

Maybe the CTS-V picked the wrong owner.

The OP and I have very similar setup and gears (if its an LS1). It should have been a close race from the hit but top end, he might have yanked you. What kind of boost is on your car?

Not sure what yr it was but it looked newer, it was a black CTS. Not sure what all he had done to it but it was a nice car.

My TA is nowhere close to being stock. No boost no shot ( yet ) just an all motor car.

I would never race on 146. Those Kemah cops are terrible.
