Default BBK Manifold not fitting???

I tried to put a BBK intake manifold on my 98 SS and for some reason it will not clear the coolant tubes. Anyone know what tubes i should get or what mods i should do to make it fit and sit flush?

You probably should have ordered the coolant plugs. I don't believe anything other than the ls1 manifold will fit without mods to the intake

Can you give me a link to the right coolant plugs? Im new to the LS1 so im still learning the differences between the models. What mods will need to be done to the manifold?

Just go to eBay and type In ls6 coolant plus....you will need to block offs for the rear and a front line that will connect the front two steam ports and tee off like the factory one. The also have them at ws6store.com or Texas-speed.com...no need to modify the intake

Id also put some blue thread-lock on all the fasteners that hold the floor plate on.
