My first Run since I got my mods done.. tune done by CMS
Wanted to see how I stacked up against the new 5.0's
Went to a Lonely area in Mexico... 1st run a Big Rig Got in the way of the 5.0 so he had to stop at about 45-55.. Second run I raped him and shut off at about 90mph..

My 99 Auto : 3200 Stall, Lid, LS6 Intake Mani, LS6 Cam, Underdrive Pulley, Long Tube Headers, 3" Catless Ypipe, 3" TSP rumbler Exhaust. 353WHp & 362WTq..

Should have roll raced him to really see where you stand: there was no way he was gonna win a dig race against you if he is stock, so a roll would have given you a better idea of where you guys are power to power. Nice kill irregardless!

not surprised you beat him with your mods and he being stock. question though why are you putting quotes around california special? lol just kinda comes off like you think he was making it up or something. CS stangs are no different from the regular 5.0 gt. just a few appearance things the motor and tranny are entirely the same.

good kill tho, shows how much an advantage a stalled ls1 can be.

Good kill, but I would have rather seen a roll. Who knows how well this guy can drive from a dig. Judging by him bogging it, I'm going to say he's still learning.

LS6 cam must be mild as all get out...... I put up same numbers with my mods in the sig. Granted I am a M6 but I guess I am a cam away from sniffing 400rwhp

Yea I raped one way worse from a stop and only pulled him 2 cars from 30-110. I would bet from a roll he would keep up much better.

i see what your saying and i agree when both drivers know how to drive their cars. ill admit its taken me awhile to get used to my 13' 5.0 and im betting this guy is still getting used to it. should dig again when hes got more time behind the wheel.

lol? no one here is saying the 5.0 would have won from a roll. i own a 13' 5.0 and im not saying that. this is pretty cut and dry here. modded car beats a stock car. we are saying to go from a roll as the 5.0 owner doesnt know how to drive it yet so the roll would have been closer, but the ls1 would prob still have won. not every car is as easy to drive as an old *** iroc lol.
