Get it scanned. Go to local autoparts store. Read code, report back...

Go to advance auto (I'm sure auto zone would have similar services) and ask for their OBDII scanner. You give them your drivers license and you go plug in the scanner to your car. Turn the electrical accessories on and enter the vehicle info into the scanner and it will scan the codes and show you what they are with a brief description, jot them down and at that point you can usually clear the codes, although sometimes they'll come back depending on what is wrong.
