Default 1998 Camaro SS Gold 6sp

Hey guys i am going to be putting my 98 gold SS 6sp up for sale. Trying to get a ballpark idea of what it would be worth. I am thinking somewhere around $8-9 is that about right seeing as it has new Carpet and all new Leather seats.

Man I don't like when people do this :/ like no info ..
What options does it have?
Leather?
Clean title?
Mods?
How many owners?
Original paint?
Do you have the paper work for the rebuild?
From what I am looking at now I will say 6500-7500
So post info so I can give a better answer ::

The car looks decent in the photo and I personally like the gold color but NO, $8,000 - $9,000 is too high with that kind of mileage. It sounds like you have put in some serious $$ over time but it is money that you rarely get back when you sell. You haven't provided enough info to substantiate your hopes for that price. Carpet and seats are not items that get you more money either. They do help sell the car to a buyer. A '98 Camaro SS will normally just fetch $6,000 - $6,500 or so with those miles, maybe even less especially if there are issues with the history of the car. You haven't provided that info. Sorry this is not what you want to hear.

Im gonna disagree, I would sit on this on for the 7-9k. Im gonna dig up the build numbers but I dont think there were that many gold cars period, let alone SS and 6 speed.

Another thing working in your favor is unless this was a late 98 car, the roof wont be bubbling and likely never will. Another rare thing helping this cars value to me. Love that car!

This is all assuming clean title, and original paint.

EDIT: This car would be 1 of 29 considering 98 Gold 6speed SS http://www.camaroz28.com/1998-camaro...ction-numbers/

2,397 units:
6-speed -1,485
Automatic – 912

10U White – 248
11U Pewter – 0
13U Silver – 316
28U Navy – 238
31U Green – 0
41U Black – 967
63U Gold – 29
79U Teal – 0
81U Red – 598
88U B. Purple – 0
96U Ceyenne – 0

This is a 1 of 29 car. 7 of the 29 were convertibles. Some people hate the Gold some love it. It's not something you find everyday!

I am the 3rd owner. I have known the 2 owner for over 13 yrs. This car was in his posession at 8,000 miles up until just now.

Specs....

1998 Camaro SS Gold
Clean Title
123k on the clock
T-Top
6sp Manual
New Leather and Carpet
Zo6 wheels freshly Powdercoated Gunmetal 17's up Front 18's rear.
Original Paint to my Knowledge
There is no bubbling on the roof

Sorry to burst any bubbles here but the rarity of the gold color is rather moot on a car with over 100,000 miles. Collectors are not interested. It is certainly a selling point for moving the car though for buyers looking for something different.

Agree ^
Because I like the color I would pay 6800 for it ..
But the car does have high miles.. So that kills it, plus it's a 00 I would prefer it to be a 02.. Anyways glws
