Default LQ4 alternator relocation bracket- 120 shipped

Category: Accessories
Price: $120
Location (State): CA
Item Condition: Brand New
LS Engine?: Fits LS Engine

The tensioner and triangular bracket with the 3 spacers goes bolted to the lower driver side of the engine block (kind of where the alternator used to be). The alternator goes on top with the aluminum spacer and the other long steel bracket on the passenger side cylinder head.

good if you're swapping an iron block into your f-body because you cant use the factory ls1 brackets.

120 shipped. paypal accepted. verified

Thick wall pipe stand-offs CNC lathed
1018 1/4 Mild CNC laser cut plates
Heliarc Tig welded joints

uses your stock tensioner and stock altenator

** overall same construction but the bracket does have a different stand off for the lq4 to make it applicable., ***

Do you have any pics of the belt on the tensioner? reason I ask is that it dont make sense why you would relocate the tensioner when the stock pulley is grooved... wouldnt it need a smooth pulley? Please help me understand that thank you

Is this designed around truck standoff or fbody stand off?
Does it use the fbody power steering pump (looks like it does)...

So is the tensioner the first item in the belt path?

i used the ls1 bracket and modified it to bolt to the front timing cover due to lq's not having a bolt hole where ls1's do. uses the timing cover bolt and the 2nd mount location. uses all factory f-body pumps etc

correct its made for an F-body with an iron block setup.. there's no need for an alternator relocation on an actual truck setup with truck accessories because the alternators already relocated. This brackets purpose is to relocate the alternator to make room for a turbo setup.
