Anyone done this before? I tried perusing the instructions but most of it seems to only be important if installing it in car... how much of the zillion page instruction manual do you think I can cut out by doing an out of vehicle installation?

what I mean is I wouldn't know what steps I can do out of car other than putting it on and the like. The hoses and other lines are what I'm confused about.

2nd gen f-body. I'd prefer to put as much of the supercharger together while the engine is out of the car.... honestly, most of the instructions are disconnecting things so you can put it in and its kinda too crowded for my liking... lol

You just install the supercharger unit. There are no other "lines" besides the heat exchanger coolant lines and the wiring harness. You wont be doing either of those out of the car.

I havent put any in that chassis so i can't help ya out with hose routing. But your not going to want to put the supercharger on before the engine install. Itll be in the way imo. Pin the crank. And do the power steering relocate bracket (if your kit has one). You should be able to put the extra idler pulley/bracket on too. Id prob wait to install the tensioner bracket as i like to put wiring and evap hoses between it and the head for a cleaner look.

I think I might just turbocharge it instead lol.
