Are you talking stock valve springs or just as big as you can go in general? Lift has less to do with piston to valve clearance than duration and LSA.

It would fit stock, unmilled heads but it will be close...those specs look like a RAPTR cam but cut on a 113 LSA...if you have milled your heads any, i would say you would need to flycut your pistons to make it fit.

lift has nothing to do with PTVC.
Think about it; when does max lift occur in the stroke?

The intake valve closes long before TDC I was just unsure about the exhaust valve just thinking that must close alot closer to TDC

Yes, Max lift is close to or at BDC (piston is furthest away from valves)

The duration is what you should be concerned with not the lift. i also wonder myself how far you can go duration wise before they hit. from what i see 240 @.50 seems pretty safe

I don't think it has any hard set answer. After you get up in that range you should check. Other things like RPM or a stretched timing chain changes valve events.
