Congrats! You usually dont get to choose electricity, gas, and water. You may have choice on phone, cable and internet. In that case, I'd go with the best deal for the whole bundle.

Water is usually through the city or a water district. Gas, depends on whats out there. Usually just one choice if you have it.
Electricity, you get to choose. Just research the deals online. If you see low introductory costs, read further and see if they raise later. Many do.

She said its powertochoose.com
She finds killer rates.
Like Greed said, water wont be your choice.
Gas, only if home is equipped.

It's actually www.powertochoose.org

You should be getting a rate around 6.0 cents per kWh. Look at the fixed plans.

For the garage floor, I recommend porcelain tile over any of the coatings.

powertochoose is where it is at. At the time Amigo was the cheapest for my area on that site. 7.3 cents. No setup fee. 1 year agrement.

Don't waste your time or money on 'green' plans. Your electricity comes to you from your nearest power plant and not some wind farms in west Texas.

Agreed 100%. Just a ploy to extract more money from global warming suckers.

Huh? Did you go to powertochoose.org? Neither Reliant or Green Mountain are anywhere close to having the best rate.

Use who you want, pay what makes you happy, but none of that matters when buying electricity. None of these companies own the infrastructure; they are simply buying electricity wholesale from someone like Centerpoint, then reselling to you at a marked up rate.
