Least amount of time to SAFELY soak lifters??
One set had been soaking for about a week, I just put the other 8 in clean oil this morning. I figured I would be working all day yesterday but called it quits around a half day and I'm now ready to bolt on my heads. I totally forgot about the other art this morning.. how long do they need to prime before I can install them??

I used comp's assembly lube on the lifters since its on the cam and lubed the lifter bodys before i put them in the trays. I just did not plug in the coil packs main connector and cranked it over some revolutions then at starup i got oil pressure within 3 or so seconds and all went well.

Yeah the ONLY reason your supposed to soak them is just to get the needle bearings oil coated. When people soak them they actually can get incorrect toque spec ive heard. I let mine soak for about 25mins or until air bubbles stopped forming in the oil that i laid them in.
