I was wondering do u think that these whp figures are low or right he also told me that this set up will give me low end since iam using a 6speed manual transmition now i have no choise of changing this cam since i already shipped the parts over see,s i was also wondeing how much rpm can i rev limit this set up can i go up to 7000 or is that to much
? Can i inject 150shots of nitrouse or is that too much keeping in mind i have a stock bottom end this engine is not so old it came out of 2006 lumina ss wich is an australyan car i am planing to smoke some supra,s to keep the american muscle raised up. My events ate good so far i also own 2 fierbirds but they wherr built through a friend of mine

that cam you should be making 420rwhp-450rwhp and that cam is all top end, you might get some cam surge depending on the tune, and yes you can take it to 7000rpm if you like

Jesus that was hard to read were you drunk and high when you typed that? Anyway itll be low 400s with that setup but you're gonna need at least some 4.10s in the rear for that cam until then its gonna be a dog down low.

I've heard a lot of good and a lot of bad on the magic sticks...what duration and lift is the cam set at?And in my opinion, I would find someone with a hp laptop tuner, unless you can afford the dyno time.

I had 4.10's with my ms4. It made 422 with a fast intake. When do you race from 2000 rpm anyway? Start at 3500 and it'll be really strong.

What motor/platform is this built from? Depending on the platform you may also need larger injectors. You will also need EFILive or HPTuners in order to tune it correctly.

I would also recommend looking at an intake + 92mm throttle body.

Make sure the pushrods are measured properly using the old compressed head gaskets especially if you are using solid roller lifters. A pushrod measuring tool is not expensive and will be worth the investment.

Make sure you measure PTV once installed. I think you may find you are below minimums and will need to decide on the risk vs. fly cutting.

if you are roll racing, then use a 3.42 or 3.73 gear... check PTV just to be safe. Get some 42 lb/hr injectors. 150 shot of nitrous will be fine.... even 200 shot will be fine.

This cam is tight on the intake side of PTV as I recall. Some have had the valve tag the piston. If tight, you will need to decide whether you want to risk it or fly cut the pistons.

The MS4 measures anywhere between .065"-.070" on clearance on the intake. While this is close it will definitely clear. We have verified this countless times on the engine dyno as well as a chassis dyno. Keep in mind this cam is meant to be a max effort setup.

I have been running a MS4 in my 2002 LS1 for about 25,000 miles now. I never had any PTV clearance issues. I have also used 3.73 and 4.10 gears in the car. Even with roll racing, you will probably enjoy the car more with a set of 4.10's. It will still bury the speedometer!
