Default Coolant LEAK at head

Just had a 427 built for my 99 camaro and have about 300 miles on it and I have a coolant leak out the side of the drivers side head towards the front. The car is NA, 11. to 1 compression, stock ls1 heads. The block is a cast iron ls1 block I believe they refer to it as a lq4 block? Anyways, does anyone have any suggestions as to why, as it appears, the head gasket would of went so fast? And can anyone suggest how to figure why it went bad? Is there a way to see if the gasket failed or if the surface wasnt flat and smooth on either the head or the block?

You would have to pull the head and have it inspected. It could just be a bad gasket or a mishap that went unseen durring the install.
