Default oil drain in oil pan question

I plan on puttin 2 90 degree -10 AN fittings into the front of my oil pan, one pointing to the right side of the engine one pointing to the left side (for twin turbo setup) ive seen pics of it done but im on my phone now so cant post them up, my question was, whats with the bulge on the one side of the front oil pan, comes out like 1/2, is there something behind it or no?

Not sure which buldge you are referring to but, yes, there are structural ribs inside the pan. I dont remember there being any in the front though. But, its been a while since I've had mine off. I would try to avoid the 90 bends if possible. Maybe some 45's or straight fittings. Just my $.02
