Who are you. My 71 was my first car almost 10 years ago. I'm still not finished with it yet. I never will be. I'm always changing it and improving it. I think it looks pretty good now. Sorry for the poor quality pics.

Hey, a second gen forum! :)

My 79Z should be back on the road within a month or so (I hope). Just have to install the fuel system (should be here next week) and get the throttle body modified for NPT fittings.

It's got a TBI system, GM crate motor (92-93 Caprice iron head roller block), CC302 camshaft (210/220 .48/.48), Hooker headers, Flowmaster dual, 4-speed ST-10. Should be fun. :)

Here's a pic, me, my son, and the car - about 2 years ago.

By the way, I've been planning on putting Baldwin stripes on my '98Z. Sharp!

Nice Z. That sounds like alot of fun. I'd love to see how Baldwin stripes would look on a 4rth gen. Keep me posted.

Just picked up a 79 Berlinetta. Its mostly straight but gutted. I'm going to fix it up "for my wife". Atleast thats what I said when I wanted to buy it.

Here's my '71 . It's a 454 powered 6 speed car. Not much is stock on this car anymore and like someone else said. It's never done :) It's got 4 wheel disc brakes and Guldstrand RR suspension and just put down 406/431 a few weeks ago. Once I put some Brodix heads on it with a solid roller cam and matching pistons I hope to be at 500 or so.

Nice '71 Racehead! Very sweet. How hard was it to do the 6 speed?

Thanks for the compliment sunsetz28

The tranny wasn't too bad to do. I used the same crossmember that my M22 was hooked to. I just had to cut the mounting pad off, turn the crossmember around backwards, weld the mounting pad back on and extend it another 3" or so. Also I had to cut the shifter hole out since the Richmond Gear 6 speed places the shifter 2" towards the driver and 3" rearward.
