9 Inch install underway, how do I do the brake lines?
For those of you who have installed the moser 9 inch housings, what did you do about brake lines? I don't know if my stock lines will work, I had my housing built 1.5 inches wider on each side so I don't have to run spacers to get the correct offset for corvette wheels anymore. What about the bracket that bolted to the 10 bolt housing and switched the lines from rubber to metal, do I need to have one made that mounts to the 3rd member on the 9 inch or does someone sell one ready to go?

you went wider? I mean you can buy straight line at the parts store and bend your own, but I have to ask why wider? You can now no longer run a weld style wheel so you really can't run a sticky tire. Kinda defeating the purpose of a 9"

We're not all here to drag race, run weld wheels or dot radial tires... I wanted a bulletproof rear, and this was the best option I found that also allowed me to get rid of the requirement to use spacers to use corvette wheels.
Thanks for the info, I'll be bending my own I guess

I didn't mean to come off so dick headed sounding. LOL I apologize, but yeah roll up to the local parts store, they sell it in sticks, take a coat hanger make the run bent how you want, cut it off at the right length now straighten it out. Viola instant measurement

No issues, different strokes for different folks. Was hoping to avoid bending line, now I guess I have to fabricate a bracket for the rubber hose by thr center section..

I am dealing with the same issue.you can use the stock outer brackets ,just cut the tab.you will need to bend new lines as mentioned.you can use a 3" U bolt for mounting the flexy lines to the rear housing.

I was tracking using the outer brackets, it's the one over the center section than needs to be fabricated. To hold the lines down, I was going to use regular brake line tabs and some crazy aircraft epoxy to attach them to the axle tubes
