I have a shifter boot from a 99 trans am. Boot is in exellent shape, but sadly the ring is cracked.

if your are looking for the retainer ring, check out 6literdesigns they have a metal retainer that will not crack! $40. I have a leather boot that is in good shape.

Ring will not hold it in anymore. The metal ring is the way to go.

YUP metal ring. wifey bought me a GM repro that the ring is white plastic and new boot, I install that in my queen, but my t/a metal! Really the best for DD
