Default Supercharged BMW M3 Vs.. Everything

Gents, i was going to post 1 thread per, but being new I figured 1 Intro thread would be enough, well, 1 for all supercharged runs, and 1 for N/A runs

Car is a 2009 BMW M3, DCT Trans.
Vortech non intercooled supercharger
6 PSI, 4cc/min Meth injection
Catless Exhaust

ENJOY!

you should watch, not all are on a dragstrip

11.8@121 is my best with traction control still on and drag radials, i did 11.9@121 on street tires (only a few track days with the blower so far). 11.5@125 is where it should be in better weather, i just have to man up and do a proper launch

What else would you have to change to up the boost to say 8 or 10psi?

Fuel system?

for this particular kit, it requires a new manifold with built-in aftercooler+ heat exchanger/hardware, injectors, pulley, and tune. These cars cant really take more than 8-8.5 psi reliably

with the BMW tax, thats about $5k more

The benefit though, if you watch some of the other video's, is I would go from roughly 500rwhp, to upper 5xx's, about 550-570 on pump alone

the white 4 door is on 8psi, and in the other thread (N/A), the white 2 door is on 7.5 psi

so, with this car and transmission, your looking at about 130mph traps

VAC in Philly holds the ET record with 10.6@129 with a VF kit, the white 2 door has the mph record with 11.7@131mph with the ESS kit

Great videos, looks like you're doing quite well with a relatively simple setup, with plenty left in it!

LostMarine finding his way over to ls1tech. Nice M3 man, definitely an upgrade from the 335i you use to have. We'd make for a good race as my 335xi goes about 12.3-12.4 but only at 112mph. You'd be flying past me right at the end.

Thanks, i appreciate the feedback

I should mention, if anyone local wants to test it out, im more than willing. I have a love for Fords, 99 Lightning was my favorite vehicle ever owned, considered this car or build a Termi.. But i wanted something newer.. But i love to compare cars, as long as no Ego's are involved But i figured id offer if anyone has a domestic that would like to seek redemption for their brothers, Im game

Nice Car . Are you the same guy that ran JoeyBalls?? Man, if he knew how to drive his car correctly, it would FLY...the guys on s2ki give him crap because he can't drive. There are S's that trap higher with lower power.

lol, yea, same guy. I think you guys are getting to him.. I think he is gonna up the 2nd gear boost and go for glory. I know he was skeptical about the trans/rear. IIRC, he went back again and ran like 11.1@132 maybe?

That car is sick, im contemplating picking one up and copying it ( more boost/built motor) to be a real midnight racer

video he is talking about

Ive run against other M3's, both N/A and supercharged

I have not yet run an M5 yet, owners a re a little scarce around here, but working on it. ANd A friend has an M6, but also no runs yet. BUT, Im working on that

Here are 2 runs vs 2 other s/c'd M3's

the first/white 4 door uses an AA kit (HKS blower) and the 2nd car is a higher kit from same company as my own, but i run almost the same boost as him

Nice vids and kills, you're one of the few M owners who mods past a tune/exhaust I see. I wouldn't bother racing that M6 though, it'll go badly for him.
