Default Misfire diagnosis help needed.

When I am accelerating normally in each gear and I just start to come back a little on the gas pedal the engine misfires. It's not a misfire on acceleration because it doesn't happen while increasing throttle or while at steady throttle during acceleration. It's not a deceleration lean backfire because the car is not decelerating and I have not completely let off the gas. It happens when first start to back off on the gas pedal after accelerating.

What do you think this is?

Thanks.

Is it a hard misfire like a ignition problem or kind of weaker one like a fueling problem? I'm just guessing here, but maybe over fueling problem? like leaking injectors or something? Do you have a scan tool to like at data when driving?

I forgot to say that the car is bone stock except the K&N air filter. I don't have a scan tool. It is a hard misfire. In all other running conditions including full throttle this does not happpen.

Have you tried just installing some new plugs and wires? I had a few weird misfires in the past the only missed and idle and low RPM due to carbon tracks on one or more spark plugs..

Get some maf cleaner and clean all the k&n oil off the mass air flow meter oh and pick up a good paper filter with the maf cleaner so you never have this problem again
