Default Is there a good video or write up to r&r the intake manifold?

I need to replace & or check my cam pos sensor & wires. I read the intake needs to be removed. To a non mechanical guy like me it looks like a misson. I did do a search but did not see anything good. Please help.

Also, if I hit the lotto or something should I buy an ls2 intake? If so around how much are they?

You dont want an LS2 intake. You can find a used LS6 intake for about $300.
This write up should help you out.http://ls1howto.com/index.php?article=5 Be careful not to break the oil pressure sensor. It is the tall black thing towards the back of the engine.
