Default Just got my Strano Spings......

Pumped to get these babys on the SOM, happening in 2 days, any tips or tricks so i dont kill myself????? Im following L1 How to write up...

POST BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURES! How much are you lowering it?

1.2 inchs, kinda nervous now, did some research and saw that some people have had trouble with rusted nuts and such specifically the rubber boot and sway bar links

How many of you have ran into this problem and broke something?

Just get some WD-40 or PB Blaster and let it soak in real well. Shouldn't be a problem.

Just get those shock springs compressed and saw the shaft with a saws all if the mount nut is fused to the shaft. Took me a few seconds to get through it. It was the easiest part of the job for me. If the end link bolt(s) break then you probably needed to change them anyways. You can get those at the local parts houses.

You wouldn't happen to know what size would you , I'm going too be doing this in a pretty small town that has few parts stores,

Just be careful with the endlinks. Soak them real good and turn them slowly and you should be just fine. Go slow and don't forgot anything when you are re-installing back on the car.

Finished after a 10 hr day installing these for the first time, best thing is I'm still alive and I have all my fingers, pics to follow in the morning, do strano springs still need time to settle also?

I've had my Koni's and Strano springs for months. I'm goin out to the shop now to change to them from my Bilsteins and hotchkis springs than has been on the car forever.

I busted my sway bar links there only 10 bux at auto zone though just make sure you use both spring compressors on each spring

I don't always use stock shocks, but when I do, I think "Koni"
