Default 4L80E Trans-go question

I was able to drive the car around the block for the first time last night. When I got back I noticed that the trans was leaking a bit. I have a stock 94 80E with a trans-go HD2 installed. When installing the HD2, we decided not to do the internal spring mods which involved removing the pump. I also (like and idiot) did not replace the front seal. From what I can tell is that there is a slight leak at the front coming from the seal.

Is there any reason to do the pump drill mod if I did not do the other internal mods? Could this be the reason that it is leaking? I assume I should go ahead and replace the seal correct? Anything else I should look at?

Any other advice is greatly appreciated.

On a good note, the trans seemed to shift fine and work as it should.
