Hey guys. I just moved here from Boston, and I was wondering what there was to do for fun around here? Any good car meets? I have an '06 GTO with full bolt ons, and I'm dying go meet a few car enthusiasts. I've heard Houston is the home of high hp street cars, and I can't wait to see if that's true.

Family car show at Kemah Chick-Fa-la/Home depot saturday nights. Friday night street action at Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown. Lots of good dining in Kemah at the Boardwalk. Top Water Grill in San Leon is better.

Pretty much all this, Topwater Grill is damn good for sure! Also Joe Lee's seafood in Kemah, Stomp's Burgers on 146 in Bacliff, Boondoggles in Seabrook, and Jackie's Brickhouse in Kemah are some favorite grub/hangout spots of mine in the area.

Welcome to the Clear Lake Area. There is quite a bit to do around the area. All listed above are good choices.

I used to live in League City when I was younger, there's definitely quite a bit to do. Enjoy the humidity though, I lived not 300 yards from the bay and it absolutely raped me

I may be moving there soon. More of Webster area, but I am from Sugar land. Going to be a big change in a way for me.

I left Dickinson for Katy (sucked big time) then back to San Leon. Next move is to League City (grew up there) in Tuscan Lakes subdivision. New house time. Love living by the water, but nothing to do but fish and drink, and I don't do much of either.

Boondoggles has plenty of beers and good food. Wife and I hit happy hour there at least once a week.

Just cruise out on 45 on a Friday night and follow a pack of cars. They will lead you to a meet somewhere.
