u of h housing recommendations needed

u of h housing recommendations needed i have a son who will be attending u of h park campus (central) and will need to rent an apt. doesnt want to be too far from the campus but that area around the school is so sketchy he doesnt want to be too close either. any ideas of reasonably priced places for a student.

Medical Center on the other side of 288 is about it. They've built a lot of stuff on campus, so that's another alternative. I went to U of H, the campus is pretty safe. The only real areas of concern were the parking lots that backed up to Scott St, they had some issues there.
