Default ALternator plug question

I have a harness from a vette engine left over and was going to use it on another swap. The alternator is a 4 wire and the vette harness is a 2 prong connector. Is there a easy way to change this over? Can I find another harness and cut the 4 wire connector from it and rework it into the vette harness? or any other suggestions?

I can give you a definite answer but I need to know what year/make the harness came from and what year/make the alternator came from.
