Gears & Axles - Backing plates how to get axles out

How do i remove the old stock axles? so that i can re-use my backing plates???
Am i able to re-use my parking break? y or n?

I just did this not a week ago ;) To remove the brake backing plates from the stock 10-bolt you need to remove the cover from the rear and drain the fluid out. Then you will see one bolt in the middle of the rear. There is only one (and not the four bolts holding the posi in (?? not sure if that is what they are for but they are the four bolts you remove when putting on a stud kit) There is a "block" of metal that can then be slid out of the posi unit. Take it out. Unbolt the four bolts from each brake backing plate and remove the sensor from each side. That allows you to then push the axles towards the middle of the rear. Go back to the middle and you'll see the two bronze colored "C" clips or retainers. Pull them out (if they didn't fall out when you pushed the axles inward and then just slide the axles out and take the plates off.

JUST remember that the one stamped "R" is the passanger side and "L" is the drivers side.
