Default Lt1 ram air help-connecting box to maf

What is that liitle rubber piece that goes between the ram air box and maf? I have the fernco piece to go from the maf to tb, but I am in need of the piece that connects the airbox to the maf.

If someone could point me to a photo, ebay listing, another thread, etc

Any help would be appreciated.

Talking

The rubber piece between the maf and air box is the same as on blazers and s10 trucks with a 4.3. Would be an easy junkyard find.

I just put a factory ram air box on, the MAF slides into the airbox, there is a rubber piece more like a gasket that goes on the MAF and seals in to the box. I'm pretty sure you can't buy it but you could easily make one with a strip of any rubberized or silicone material. If I remember right it was about .060-.090 thick.

Can I use something like this and cut it to a shorter length?

Just measured it and it is 4".
Looks like I need something that goes from 4" to 3.5"?

Did you go with just 4" tubing? or 4" to 3.5"?

It appears from this thread to be a short 4" piece

Can someone confirm that?

Sorry posting a lot, I just want to get this project done before winter sets in

I have this setup on my car. The piece between the maf and airbox is identical to the one found on the 4.3 blazers. Just go to a boneyard and get one. $5 maybe. Or go to a gm dealer and get one. If you don't wanna make one this is the best option
